At Niterra North America, we are a leading manufacturer of ignition parts and sensor components, supplying parts to major car manufacturers. This role will lead a team of material handling staff to ensure efficient inbound and outbound operations, while upholding safety, quality, and compliance standards. This supervisory role involves training, data analysis, project leadership, and collaboration to continuously improve processes.
Essential Duties:
Supervise Inbound and Outbound material handling staff (Asst. Supervisors, Team Leaders, all classifications of MH, Coordinator(s) and temporary workers).
Oversee Inbound/Outbound daily activities, ensure adequate resources, provide direction to all associates to meet daily workload objectives and achieve all defined performance metrics.
Prepare daily work schedules, monitor performance, and provide on-the-job training in accordance with established procedures and work instructions.
Provide continuous training and development per defined schedules or as needed to all associates in your area.
Corporate ambassador of compliance and safety to all associates within the facility.
Adhere to the discipline of continuous improvement, identify and lead projects to completion.
Collect and analyze data to establish facts and identify root cause analysis to solve problems.
Location expert on SAP functionality as it applies to the Inbound and Outbound processes. Able to align physical activity with system best practice to ensure system integrity.
Ensure compliance and maintain customer specific shipping requirements. Assist with customer claims and reporting.
Interface with other departments and individuals in the organization to resolve issues and foster improved efficiency.
Adhere to and enforce QMS quality requirements and update work instructions as needed.
Adhere to and enforce safety awareness and all safety policies and procedures.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures including IATF16949, ISO14000 and internal QMS related policies as applicable.
Academic Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 5-years related warehouse experience
Minimum 3 years direct supervisory experience in a high volume, fluctuating demand environment
Strong computer skills, especially in MS Office suite
Warehouse Management System experience preferred; notably SAP
Ability to schedule daily workload/assignments to meet productivity goals and objectives
Ability to collect and analyze data to identify root cause, establish facts and solve problems
Proven ability to supervise and motivate a team
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in communicating in English language verbally and in writing
Telephone etiquette and experience handling customer concerns
Attention to detail and good organization skills
Strong math skills
Industrial Power Equipment experience
Possess mental faculties consistent with performing at least the minimum essential functions of the job
Physical Requirements:
Dexterity of hands to operate a computer keyboard and a variety of equipment
Ability to see and hear (correctable)

Ability to reach, bend at the waist, kneel, and crouch
Ability to sit or stand for an extended period of time

Salary Range: $60,500 - $77,000
