  • Responsibilities

    Essential Duties:

    • Leads all aftermarket consumer events planning as assigned by direct Manager.
    • Coordinate and attend, as necessary, all consumer event activations, A/M national meetings and training meetings.
    • Assist and collaborate with corporate associates in coordinating internal management meetings, supplier conferences and customer holiday events
    • Under the direction of the manager, negotiates contracts and obtains competitive bids from vendors to ensure the highest quality of service and products at the most competitive price/cost
    • Prepare all facets of event planning including coordinating staffing, set-up and proper implementation of all on-site signage, brand placements including PA announcements, promotions, entertainment, registration, giveaway distribution, and prize management.
    • Create and maintain annual consumer events calendar.
    • Generate invoice processing and budget tracking of all final expenditures related to consumer events.
    • Interface with key vendors, customers, sales representatives and corporate associates to ensure efficient event logistics communication and overall flawless event execution
    • Assist in customer incentive trips, industry and customer tradeshow planning and preparation as directed by Manager.
    • Provide event support to sales and executive personnel, as necessary.
    • Communicate any urgent issues relates to the coordination of any corporate events to Management for direction.

    Qualifications

    Academic Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Bachelor’s degree in business related field or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in coordinating and/or planning events
    • Motorsports/Performance racing event sponsorship experience preferred
    • Strong computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills verbally and in writing
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Extremely detail oriented
    • Ability to present information clearly and concisely to an audience
    • Ability to work well with a team
    • Ability to travel a minimum of 60%
