    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties:

    • Assist manager with the administration of company benefits.
    • Distribute new hire insurance packets.
    • Assist with all benefit open enrollments and new hire enrollments.
    • Prepare NGK USA monthly insurance invoices for approval.
    • Process benefits terminations, changes, and updates.
    • Update and maintain employee files, records, forms, and other documentation.
    • Track lost participants in the 401(k) plans and update the database.
    • Distribute annual required notices to associates.
    • Assist in the development, planning and implementation of wellness programs, events, and presentations.
    • Work collaboratively with HR colleagues to accomplish benefit and wellness objectives as assigned.
    • Coordinate and schedule wellness events, such as lunch and learns, health screenings, flu shots, fitness classes, etc. as a member of the wellness committee.
    • Assist with benefits and wellness communication materials, as requested.
    • Adhere to all company policies related to J-SOX and IATF16949.

    Qualifications

    Academic Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred; 4 years related work experience acceptable
    • Experience in using an HRIS system preferred
    • Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    • Ability to work well in a group setting and independently
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to maintain confidential information
    • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
    • Good MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
    • Detailed-oriented and strong organizational skills
