  • Responsibilities

    • Technical & Sales liaison between NGK Japan and USA.
    • Develop and maintain strong working relationship with customers.
    • Explain products and engineering specifications to the customer.
    • Plan and arrange visits to both customers and prospective customers, independently and with visitors from Japan or other NTK offices.
    • Complete reports on trip, test, or contact details for all customers’ visits and document/report any communication regarding critical issues.
    • Negotiate design and process changes with customers.
    • Collect and report detailed information on engineering defects and any customer information.
    • Assist customers in developing drawings.
    • Work with all Cutting tools sales personnel on testing and research.
    • Answer to the customer’s technical questions.
    • Perform job-related travel as necessary.
    • Adhere to all company policies and procedures and if applicable adhere to company policies relating to TS16949 and ISO14000.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
    • Fundamental knowledge of metal working and manufacturing industries
    • Knowledge of all fields and disciplines required comprehending the products, materials, procedures, process and analysis and QA functions of NTK products.
    • Excellent communication and customer relation skills
    • Excellent project management skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
    • Possess a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
    • Possess mental faculties consistent with performing at least the minimum essential functions of the job required
